Bio (Français)

Anne Roquigny curatrice nouveaux médias, s’est spécialisée dans la production et la programmation de projets artistiques hybrides liés au son, aux arts visuels, à Internet, aux réseaux et au « women empowerment ».
Depuis qu’internet existe, elle invente des dispositifs pour promouvoir les artistes du web. Son dernier projet Bbot est une sculpture connectée, équipée d’un système de vidéoprojection et du logiciel Webjays pour surfer automatiquement dans des collections d'oeuvres dématérialisées.
Les projets Webjays http://www.wj-s.org : performances, conférences, workshops et expositions de net art ont été programmés dans des centres d’art, musées et festivals de renommée internationale.

Avec l'artiste David Guez, elle est à l'initiative du projet Hostanartist.com , une plateforme en ligne de résidence d'artistes chez l'habitant, lancée en novembre 2015.

En 2017, elle fonde SALOON PARIS avec Valentina Peri.
SALOON est un réseau international de femmes du monde de l’art de Berlin, Vienne, Hambourg, Bruxelles, Dresden, Tel Aviv, Londres, Montreal et de Paris : commissaires d’exposition, curatrices indépendantes, artistes, galeristes, responsables d’institutions, centres d’art ou encore auteures, journalistes, chercheuses. https://www.saloon-network.org/

Quelques dates clés 1995 - 2016 :
Après s’être occupée pendant 3 ans de 1995 à 1998, de la programmation du Webbar à Paris, Anne Roquigny rejoint en 1999 l’équipe du CICV Pierre SCHAEFFER, un des premiers centres français de création et d’expérimentation dans le domaine du multimédia. Elle y assure la coordination et la programmation artistique des festivals internationaux d’art numérique urbain et la direction adjointe du lieu.
De 2002 à 2004, elle est responsable, à la Gaîté Lyrique, de la coordination générale du projet de préfiguration du futur centre d’art numérique parisien. Elle organise la première Nuit Blanche à Paris avec Pierre Bongiovanni.
De 2006 à 2016, elle est en charge de coordination du Laboratoire de recherche  en art audio, locusonus.orgs Sonus, basé à l’Ecole Supérieure d’art d’Aix en Provence.


Prix :
En octobre 2013 Anne Roquigny reçoit le prix Transnomades « ARTS & NETWORK(S) à Bruxelles.

En Novembre 2009 et en décembre 2012  Anne Roquigny est rédactrice en chef invitée du magazine MCD et publie WJ-SPOTS #1 "15 ans de création artistique sur Internet",

Anne Roquigny is a French independent media art curator specialized in hybrid digital projects related to networks, the internet, sound, visual arts and women empowerment.

She is the creator of the Webjays project http://www.wj-s.org an innovative public display for curating and exhibiting online projects. One of her last creations is Bbot a connected sculpture that diffracts online artworks on walls. This pervasive device blends physical and virtual spaces in a unique way.

Her performances, shows, workshops, conferences and publications have been presented internationally at renowned venues, festival and museums.

In 2016, she founded with David Guez, the Hostanartist.com, platform online exchange platform for property owners and artists.

In 2017, she founded with Valentina Peri, SALOON PARIS www.saloon-paris.fr  a network for Women of Paris’ art scene.

In the late 90’s, Anne Roquigny started curating some browser based and digital art projects at the Webbar, an internet café/art gallery in Paris where she was in charge of the cultural events.
In 1999, she joined the CICV Pierre Schaeffer, one of the first French new media art centres where she worked as artistic curator of the international Urban Multimedia Arts festivals and co-director of the production and residency venue.
From 2002 to 2004, Anne was responsible at La Gaité Lyrique of the general coordination of the preliminary project of, the parisian Digital Art Center and organized with Pierre Bongiovanni the first Nuit Blanche in Paris.
From 2006 to 2016 she co-coordinated the Locus Sonus sound lab at the School of art of Aix en Provence. 
She regularly  teachies at the Universities of Paris 8 & Marne la Vallée and at EAC Art School in Paris and various art schools in the world.

IIn 2009 and in 2013 Anne roquigny is the guest chief editor of the MCD publications and launches WJ-SPOTS #1 "15 years of artistic creation on the Internet»

Anne Roquigny, comisaria de arte de los nuevos medios, se ha especializado en la producción de proyectos híbridos y
digitales relacionados a la red e Internet.

Anne Roquigny es la creadora del proyecto WJ-S http://www.wj-s.org un entorno par exponer proyectos y artistas de la red.

Dirige con el artista David Guez la plataforma internacional de residencias de artistas en la casas de habitantes Hostanartist.com

Inicio tambien el www.saloon-paris.fr  con Valentina Perri. una red artistica de mujeres del campo del arte.

Algunos datos:
Tras idear y organizar durante 3 años (1995-98) los programas culturales de los acontecimientos
de Web Bar, un café del Internet con galería de arte en París, se une en 1999 al
CICV Pierre Schaeffer, uno de los primeros centros de nuevos medios franceses donde
ella trabajaba como coordinadora y comisaria de los international urban multimedia arts festivals
y después de codirectora del centro con Pierre Bongiovanni (.
Desde 2002 hasta 2004, Anne Roquigny estuvo a cargo de la coordinación general del proyecto
preliminar para un centro futuro de las Artes de Digitales en París, dedicado a la producción digital
y a la música electrónica, en la Gaité Lyrique.
En paralelo estába, hasta 2016, coordinando con Peter Sinclair y Jérôme Joy
el proyecto Locus Sonus (http://www.locusonus.org) un laboratorio de investigación especializado
en audio art, en su relación con el espacio y con los sistemas de audio interconectados en la red.
